Will I Have To Pay Sales Tax?

FullModern operates under the umbrella of state laws. Sales tax will only be charged for instate deliveries to the State of New Jersey and will be calculated during the check-out process. Please note that International orders are subject to taxes and/or duties in the country where the items are delivered.

What Is The Cost Of Shipping?

FullModern offers free shipping on small parcel items and larger freight items shipped via truck with curbside service.

For larger items such as sofas and beds we not only offer but recommend one of our additional shipping options. Please be aware these options aware are subject to additional charges which are notated at checkout:

  • Inside Delivery/Threshold - Driver(s) will carry the item(s) into the first dry area of your location (front door of your home, apartment, office building or garage)
  • Inside Delivery & Setup – Driver(s) will carry the item(s) into your home, apartment or place of business (up to and including two flights of stairs) and will perform one hour of setup

Any Additional time required to complete the setup or to accommodate any other requests made by the customer at the time of delivery will be billed directly to the customer at a rate of $60 per hour.

Any additional service(s) such as "liftgate", "inside delivery", "re-delivery/reconsignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees", are charged by the shipping companies and will be the customer's responsibility. FullModern cannot take responsibility for any charges that incur as a result of additional freight services made at the customer’s request.
* Actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the refund of any/all returned merchandise.


When Will My Order Ship?

Many factors will affect the lead time necessary to prepare your order for shipment. Since we offer a wide variety of state-of-the-art designs your items may be available for shipment directly from our warehouse or they may be custom-designed overseas. We will keep you informed of the shipment details every step of the way so you will know when your order will arrive.

Once your order has been placed, either on our website or by phone, our Customer Service team will send you an email confirming the expected ship date within 24-48 hours.

Once your order ships, you will receive an email from us providing you with the actual carrier and the tracking information.

If your order has shipped via a freight company or you chose to include White Glove service, the carrier will contact you directly to schedule the delivery.

Always remember, you may contact our Customer Service team at any time during the entire process and they will be happy to assist you.


What Shipping Method Do You Use, How Long Will It Take For My Items To Arrive And How Much Do They Cost?

You can feel confident knowing your item(s) will be shipped the quickest, most efficient way possible. Our goal is to ensure your purchase always arrives on time. Every item on our site has pre-determined shipping method which is based on the actual characteristics of the product.

We offer three main delivery methods:

Small parcel items ship via UPS or FedEx and generally take 1-10 business days to arrive.
*Please note: The vast majority of our items ship with "no signature required," but this is always done at the discretion of the delivery driver.

Larger freight items ship via truck with curbside service and generally take 1-2 weeks to arrive.
* Please note: If you chose this delivery option, the truck driver will pull up to the curb in front of your home or building. You will need to move the items inside your home once the driver has unloaded them from the truck. Since you may need assistance getting your items into your home, be sure to make arrangements or you may choose to upgrade to the White Glove Service described below.

White Glove Service is a higher level of freight service which offers more options and generally takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. These options include:

  • First Threshold: the driver brings your item(s) just inside the sweep of the first door.
  • Inside Delivery/Room of Choice: This selection includes placing the packaged product in your room of choice, but does not including opening, assembly or debris removal.
  • White Glove Service with Assembly: an outstanding choice to consider when ordering larger items such as bookshelves and beds which may require professional assembly. The delivery team will also take away the packaging materials

*Please note that FullModern does not support any plumbing, electrical wiring or wall mountings that may be required for your products.


What If I Live In Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico Or The U.S. Virgin Islands?

Additional shipping fees may apply for these locations. Our Customer Service team will confirm these additional fees 24-48 hours after your order is placed. Your order will not be finalized until you accept the final terms.


Can I Request Expedited Shipping For An Extra Charge?

This can be arranged for under special circumstances, yes.


Can You Ship To My PO Box?

Unfortunately, FullModern cannot ship to PO Boxes or Military APOs.


Can I Ship To Multiple Addresses?

Kindly contact our Customer Service team and they will gladly assist you with all your needs.


What If My Order Arrives Damaged?

If your item(s) was damaged during transit, please contact our Customer Service team and they will be happy to assist you.


How Much Time Do I Have To Inspect My Package For Damage?

All items must be inspected immediately upon delivery.
*Please note: It is imperative that all items delivered via a freight carrier are inspected upon delivery. If you detect any problems, please contact our Customer Service team immediately.


Do You Offer Volume Discounts?

Yes we offer discounts depending with the volume of your order. This can be determined as soon as you make the order.

What Is The Lead-Time On My Order?

Lead-times usually fluctuate depending on the commodity ordered. Items that are ready in stores are shipped immediately, while others are sent for upon request by the client. Such can usually take between 8 and 12 weeks on average.
